Product Description

Dantesmile natural food wrap is made entirely by hand from organic cotton and impregnated with Slovenian organic beeswax from a local organic beekeeper. He tends to his bees with love and dedication. We chose local beeswax precisely because of the non-invasive beekeeping practices, the organic approach, and the proximity to both local beekeepers and Slovenian bees.

The addedjojoba oil ensures a smooth and flexible wrap that will serve you well for a long time. Hand-harvested spruce resin from a local forest ensures that the wrap adheres well to the container or to itself. Since Dantesmile’s natural food wrap is made from beeswax, which is rich in active ingredients, food covered with it stays fresh—primarily thanks to the propolis found in the beeswax.

Storage

After use, wash the wrap thoroughly with a sponge under cold running water, dry it, and it’s ready to be reused. Do not wash the wrap in the dishwasher or washing machine, and do not expose it to high temperatures. If you take good care of the wrap, it will last you all year long and save you from using a lot of plastic alternatives!

Instructions

Before use, rinse the foil under running water. Place the foil over the food you want to wrap or cover, just as you would with plastic wrap, and where it needs to seal, press it together with the warmth of your hands and palms or press it against the edge of the container to which the foil adheres. The foil is not suitable for covering hot foods or beverages, or raw meat or fish. If the foil develops any cracks, simply warm it gently in the oven (at the lowest temperature) so that the wax redistributes evenly, and you can continue using the foil. After use, wash the foil thoroughly with a sponge under cold running water, dry it, and it’s ready for reuse. Do not wash the foil in the dishwasher or washing machine, and do not expose it to high temperatures. If you take good care of the wrap, it will last you all year long and save you from using a lot of plastic alternatives!
