Božnar Honey House’s floral honeywas collected by Carniolan gray bees from blooming Slovenian meadows and orchards. It is yellowish-brown in color, which varies depending on the flowers from which the bees collected the nectar. Wildflower honey is delicious on bread or in baked goods; it is suitable for preparing light meat dishes, as well as for salads and various beverages.

Product Description

This floral honey was collected by Carniolan bees from flowering Slovenian meadows and orchards. It is yellowish-brown in color, which depends on the flowers from which the bees gathered nectar. It usually crystallizes quickly; crystallization may be complete or partial, with large crystals. All natural honey crystallizes and liquefies again at 40°C.

Fl ower honey is delicious on bread or in baked goods; it is suitable for preparing light meat dishes as well as forsalads and various beverages.

Honey bearing the Hiša medu Božnar brand is produced in Slovenia. Slovenian bees, the Carniolan honeybee, gather the raw material for this honey from fragrant meadow flowers and in shady forests throughout Slovenia. These gathered ingredients give the honey its distinctive character and unique flavor. They produce various types of honey, which differ from one another based on their botanical and geographical origins. They vary in color, aroma, and taste.
