Product Description

Organic hulled hemp seeds have a lower fiber content than unhulled ones, but a much higher protein content. They are a highly nutritious whole food and can be used as a supplement to a healthy diet. They are a good source of protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and other nutrients. The seeds also contain high levels of arginine, an amino acid that may help lower high blood pressure and protect the heart.

They have a mild nutty flavor, and because the outer shell has been removed, there are many ways to use them. They make an excellent topping for fruit salads, muffins, and warm breakfast cereals. They can be added to raw desserts, bread, pastries, and cookies. They also go exceptionally well with yogurt. With the addition of honey and cocoa, you can make a delicious sweet spread, and if you add oil, herbs, and salt, you get a wonderful pesto that’s perfect as a pasta sauce.
