Product Description

Organic coconut sugar is a natural sweetener with a low glycemic index (35). It has an excellent caramel flavor and is suitable for sweetening all kinds of dishes and beverages. Organic coconut sugar is an excellent substitute for white sugar and is considered a real treat. Coconut sugar contains inulin, which, due to its water solubility, slows down the absorption of glucose.

The production of coconut sugar takes place in two steps. It begins with the pressing of coconut palm flowers to extract a clear juice that contains as much as 80% water. In the next phase, the water is evaporated to produce coconut paste. The coconut paste is then dried until a dry substance is obtained, which is sifted to yield granulated coconut sugar. Bufo Eko coconut sugar is produced according to organic standards, which ensure that all the natural properties of the food are preserved, as well as its full flavor and aroma.
