Instructions

Washing Machines and Dishwashers: Pour about 200 g of citric acid (one cup) into an empty washing machine or dishwasher. Select a cycle with a temperature of 50–60 °C. Once the water has heated up, pause the cycle and let the citric acid sit for about 30 minutes, then resume the cycle until it finishes.

Coffee makers:Dissolve one tablespoon (15 g) of citric acid inwarm water, pour the solution into the coffee maker, and start the brewing cycle. After the cycle is complete, rinse the coffee maker thoroughly with clean water.

Electric kettles:Pour water intothe kettle, add one tablespoon (15 g) of citric acid, and bring to a boil. Then turn off the appliance and let the solution sit for about 30 minutes. Afterward, pour out the water and rinse the heater thoroughly.
