New Products at Rifuzl - May, June, and July 2021

Even though the summer months are meant for recharging your batteries, we at Rifuzlarji aren’t taking a break! Quite the opposite—we’re carefully stocking our shelves with all the cute products you’ve been eagerly awaiting, and now you can finally try them out ?.

Food

"TATARARAAAA, the long-awaited tofu is coming to our selection! ???"

That’s how Manca enthusiastically announced the new addition to the fridge. And why was she jumping for joy?

• Because Tina from Fržek makes the tofu by hand using Slovenian soybeans from the Trnulja farm.
• Because it’s fresh and unpasteurized tofu.
• Because it’s packaged in returnable jars, which means it’s definitely the most eco-friendly tofu far and wide.

There you go—now take a minute or so to do a little happy dance yourself.

On the other side of Rifuzl, the freezer is giving the fridge some serious competition. We’ve literally stuffed it full of TaStrlet ice creams. But that’s not all! If you call in a few minutes, all the new ice creams are vegan! The options are:

• black currant,
• pear,
• dark chocolate with cardamom and cherries.

Indy&Pippa ice creams (which are also vegan) occasionally join the TaStrlet lineup. You’ll love them in three different flavors— ChocoNutty (hazelnut-chocolate), LuckyBerry (blueberry), and Salted Carameloow (salted caramel).

We’ve reserved the little space that’s left for the bean patties crafted by Tina from Fržek. They’re the perfect accompaniment to a summer salad, and they’re an excellent solution for all of us who need food RIGHT AWAY, since you can cook them straight from the freezer.

Gabaroni has really stepped up, as all the pasta you can choose from at Rifuzl is now exclusively organic. Penne, wide noodles, lasagna sheets, spaghetti, farfalle, conchiglie… it’s all organic. Even Tatjana and Lojze, who deliver them to us, are completely natural and unspayed ?.

So you don’t just eat pasta, you can spice up your menu with some “exotic” treats:

• Eva from Vegana Tortarna has treated you to a mango-and-coconut-flavored chia pudding.
• Rok from Rok’s Nut Butter has come up with yet another perfect spread —this time made from Indian nuts.
• The BeLifete team is quenching your thirst with a new kombucha flavor (this one is lime).
• On the shelves, you’ll find Biogetto with turmeric for making risottos and stews.
• Mimy (almond base) is now also available in a smaller package, which makes 4 liters of almond milk (the larger jar makes 8 liters).

Oh, and hidden on the shelves is Metka’s sage syrup, and right by the register, a full crate of organic potatoes from the Beci farm is waiting for you. If you’re worried the potatoes will run out before you make it to Rifuzl, reserve some on the order form.

Other

Some people recommend cleaning your teeth by biting into an apple instead of using a toothbrush. We’d still like to offer you an alternative (plus, we don’t have any apples right now).

You can successfully keep your teeth beautiful and shiny with Hydrophill interdental brushes —they’re now available in a slightly larger size (0.5 mm) to really clean the spaces between your teeth. Toothie has also revamped its mint-flavored toothpaste tablets —they now contain fluoride and are even more refreshing than before. And we’re the only place where you can get Toothie tablets in bulk; everywhere else, they’re pre-packaged now. ?

With strong, healthy teeth, you’ve got nothing to fear even if you eat your snack out of a metal Elephant Box. If I were you, I’d carry it with me all the time—you never know when something worth munching on might pop up in front of you.

Finally, let me tell you about the magical fairy cleansing pads made by Tina from GlinaSi —they’ll feel right at home in your bathroom. Discontinued

To make room for all the new products, we’ve had to discontinue some items. So you won’t find the following on our shelves anymore:

• cocoa blends (ginger-cardamom),
• TaStrlet’s black currant-flavored ice cream (since we’ve replaced it with their vegan version),
• Georganics natural toothpaste (without essential oils).
